INFORMATION ABOUT SS 2
flash info (43 - Chiarani Maurizio / Zanella Flavio): Difficult rally, very dirty but still very entertaining.
flash info (38 - Locatelli Massimiliano / Tiraboschi Stefano): I’m happy because it’s my first Rallye Monte-Carlo. The stages are really difficult and there is a lot of dirt. We could push and we are satisfied with that. Let’s do this again tomorrow.
flash info (37 - Laurencich Federico / Mlakar Alberto): The first two stages were not so easy. We need to change a few set up for tomorrow to see if we can attack a bit more and get some pace.
flash info (35 - Burri Olivier / Levratti Anderson): We can’t wait to go to sleep. It was good but the second stage was quite slippery, with a lot of dirt. That one was truly a Monte stage, with the pyro and the atmosphere from the fans. This is crazy and we’ll cherish those memories for a long time. So beautiful to see fireworks when you are an amateur driver.
flash info (32 - Miele Mauro / Beltrame Luca): This first day was so good. We are struggling because we can’t see but there is nothing we can do about it and I was quite slow.
flash info (27 - Lefebvre Stéphane / Malfoy Andy): There is a lot of pollution on the road, which has become really dirty and slippery. The conditions are getting more though and it will be even harder for the drivers that will be coming after us. We made no mistake and took no risk.
flash info (24 - Ciamin Nicolas / Roche Yannick): Nothing particular to say. The second special was quite complicated but we are here and the rally is still long.
Stage was cancelled.
Stage is stopped after car no. 62 because of fire.
retired (31 - Wartique John / Andernack Maxime): technical problem - engine in SS 2
(31 - Wartique John / Andernack Maxime): stopped in stage
flash info (22 - Solberg Oliver / Edmondson Elliott): I have no confidence, we have lost so much.
flash info (13 - Munster Grégoire / Louka Louis): It was a bit better in terms of the setup, but we maybe went a bit too far in the wrong direction. This one was a bit more muddy with more damp patches around the stage and so the tyre could not keep its temperature.
flash info (16 - Fourmaux Adrien / Coria Alexandre): There was more dirt in there than on the previous one. I struggled to find the feeling, but it was okay.
flash info (9 - Mikkelsen Andreas / Eriksen Torstein): Step by step. It's a big difference to be in this car and I have to get used to things. It's still accelerating on the entry to the corners so it's hard to trust it. I took it really reserved.
flash info (18 - Katsuta Takamoto / Johnston Aaron): I was too careful in the damp corners. There's still a long way to go, so let's focus and try to be better tomorrow.
flash info (17 - Ogier Sébastien / Landais Vincent): It seems that it's difficult for us, but we expected that a bit. With these conditions it's better to be at the front. We had a decent run - I have a rhythm but, like I said, the road is getting very dirty very quickly.
flash info (8 - Tänak Ott / Järveoja Martin): With throttle issues it's got really bad now. To be honest, I am very happy to be here. That's all we can say. It's incredible what this thing is doing at the moment, but let's see.
flash info (11 - Neuville Thierry / Wydaeghe Martijn): It was okay but I had some small trouble with the car in this stage so I needed to be careful. We will see what is the problem.
flash info (33 - Evans Elfyn / Martin Scott): Difficult... really difficult to judge how quicly to go. Conditions were very, very mixed, but we need to wait and see how the others have done. Some bits good, some bits not so good. We'll see.
New start time 22:15.
Stage will be delayed.
Stage is dry with some damp parts, temperature slightly above zero.
